Golden Vibes Counseling Center requires that all psychoeducational assessments be paid out-of-pocket, as our psychologist, Taylor Newman, is not in-network with any insurance providers. Even though Golden Vibes (as a clinic) may be in-network with your insurance provider, Taylor Newman is the individual rendering service provider and she is not in-network with any insurance companies. This document provides detailed information regarding billing, payment, and insurance-related aspects of the assessment process.
Payment Process
1. Payment Method: We require all clients to keep a card on file for payment. We accept payment via credit card, debit card, or HSA/FSA card. We do not accept cash or checks.
2. Full Payment Requirement: The full cost of the assessment will be charged within 1-3 business days of the first session. Subsequent follow-up appointments will only be scheduled once the full payment has been received.
Insurance and Superbills
1. Out-of-Network Services: Taylor Newman is not in-network with any insurance providers. Consequently, we cannot bill your insurance directly for the assessment.
2. Superbill: After completing all three sessions (initial intake, assessment, and reports/findings meeting), we can provide you with a superbill upon request. This document details the services provided and the amount paid, which you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.
3. Insurance Reimbursement: Please be aware that reimbursement is not guaranteed. The reimbursement amount, if any, will depend on your specific insurance policy. It is essential that you verify with your insurance provider whether they will reimburse you for out-of-network services.
4. Client Responsibility: We do not handle the reimbursement process for you. This means: We donot submit claims to your insurance company. ○ We do not communicate with your insurance provider on your behalf. ○ You are responsible for contacting your insurance company to understand their reimbursement policies and submitting the superbill for reimbursement.
Important Points to Note
Verification with Insurance: We strongly recommend that you contact your insurance company before scheduling the assessment to verify whether they will provide reimbursement to you for out-of-network services.
Communication with Insurance: If you encounter any issues or have questions regarding the reimbursement process, please direct these inquiries to your insurance company. They will provide the most accurate and relevant information based on your policy.
